This Riad is in a perfect location, 15 mins walk from the main souks, and super easy to get to most places. Also only a 4 min walk from our fav lunch spot le jardin. Karim was amazingly helpful before our trip and everyone at the riad tended to our every need. Super helpful and very friendly. The cabs we used via the riad were also the best and so reliable with lovely English speaking drivers. Every part of our stay was an absolute dream. We ate in two nights and the food was also authentic and very tasty. Thank you to everyone that made our stay perfect. Charlotte

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the Riad is even more amazing in person. Although there was quite a big language barrier ( our issue for not speaking French ) the staff were so accommodating at all times, they helped us with every request, from booking extra lunches, taxis and dinners. The location is amazing, right in the souks so you get a real feel for the real old town of Marrakesh, its around a 10 minute walk to the Medina and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the parks. To go to the new town ( really lovely to visit ) it's just a short drive, around 10 minutes. The manager helped us book this which was very helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is so well prepared, absolutely delicious. I would 100% return. Thank you !

This was the most beautiful riad we stayed in during our vacation in Morocco. It was like a museum of art that surrounded us. Karim was easily accessible and responded quickly by email. He went over and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. He offered arrangements to help my son get from airport to riad. The staff at the riad were so welcoming and the dinner was outstanding. Karim's riad is absolutely gorgeous and was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. The whole place is impeccably decorated, every room is unique and stylish with comfortable beds and private bathrooms in each room (with great warm water!). The breakfast with fresh Moroccan pancakes and jams was a sweet perk in the morning, as was the refreshing pool on the ground floor. It's amazing how you can be right in the middle of the hectic Medina, yet once in the riad have total peace and quiet. Karim was extremely quick with all communication. He helped arrange private taxis from the airport for each of us and the caretaker met us at the entrance to the Medina to show us the way to the riad. This was the perfect place for our group of 8 people, though we could have fit many more. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely try to stay here again if we return to Marrakech.

We rented out the Riad for a group of 9 friends and it was perfect for us. The size was ideal for our group - you could have fitted a few more in comfortably but this gave us plenty of room. The location was really ideal for exploring the Medina and there was a convenient taxi stop nearby. Karim was super helpful in arranging transfers for the various parties flying in and arranged dinner for us the first night. The WiFi was pretty weak unless you’re sitting downstairs at the dining table so it could be improved on. Overall, the Riad is a pretty and very peaceful little spot in the Medina. It could do with a little tlc in the bathrooms but we had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone.

What's an ocean of Tranquility, apart from the 4 a.m. cockerel next door that is. This isn't a chain hotel place but an old style house within the Medina full of nooks and crannies just as it was built. It is difficult to find and you need to leave a breadcrumb Trail to find your way back. That's true of any place in the Medina . We arrived late on Friday night and ate a simple but superb meal prepared by the staff . The house is right in the Medina and it is immersed in the fantastic and fabulous atmosphere of the place. The staff will happily recommend restaurants and locations and arrange events and activities. We did use them to book all our taxis but after all there was 14 of us. Sure you can spend 20 minutes each time negotiating with the cabbies or their fixers on Mohammed V where all the Taxis congregate but for effectively the same price you can be whisked in tinted glass luxury to wherever you want to go. We set up each evening, before going to dinner, our own private cocktail party on the roof however bring your own g&t. alcohol is pretty hard to source other than the local French Carrefour some distance away. Sitting comfortably as the sun went down and the temperature drops a fraction with the backdrop sounds of call to prayer was incredible

Our stay at this Riad was amazing. We were lucky to have it all too ourselves. We had someone making breakfast for us everyday. The breakfast was good, it was clean and the location was good. And the Riad was beautiful!

the riad absolutely blew us away. we had a group of 16 young adults in Marrakech for the weekend and rented the whole place. it was perfect for us. the courtyard is beautiful with flowering plants everywhere and the rooms were all so unique and artfully decorated. we ate two meals at the riad the food was AMAZING. everyone was really accommodating, especially Karim who helped us plan a day trip outside of the city. he set everything up for us and even helped us (very patiently) change our minds at the last minute. we also loved and took advantage of the great location and proximity to the main square/souks. the riad was surrounded by lots of great restaurants that were open even during Ramadan. overall, our time at the riad and our experience of Marrakech couldn't have been better.

Karim's riad is very well located in the Medina. We were a group of 12. And we were all happy with the accommodation. The ladies that made our lovely breakfast of pancakes and crumpets were lovely and tidied our rooms too. I would definitely recommend this Riad for a stay. It is so easy to find your way around the busy Medina from here. Its a calm oasis in the middle of the hectic matketplace.

« Beautiful riad, spacious and full of character. We rented the entire place for a group holiday and had a really nice time. Karim and Aziza were very helpful. Nadia and Mohammad in the house were spectacular and went above and beyond to help us where possible. They made our stay memorable and we had a great time. They were understanding of the needs of a big group and were flexible and helpful. The riad itself is in a great location. Definitely recommended. Every morning we enjoyed the breakfast that was prepared for us and we also loved the fact that our beds were made everyday. »

Cannot recommand this place enough. A group of 12 of us had an amazing trip here. All rooms cleaned and well appointted with everything needed to thourougly enjoy your stay. The Riad is beautiful with a wonderful central courtyard, pool and rooftop that form an oasis from the city outside. A close walk to the centre of the city with the souks all around this place forms a great base for a stay in Marrakech. The real highlight however were the staff, Fatima provides excellent and personalized meals for a small fee as well as a complimentary breakfast. The house keeper will cater to any need, cleaning rooms daily and even organizing a cooking class for some of those in our group. Finally Kamal will pick you up from the airport if you organise a pick up (which I highly recommend). He is extremely friendly and was able to organise day trips and even a 3 day desert safari for us. He took care of every detail for a very reasonable cost and really helped to make our trip to Morrocco very special. Will be coming here again and would encourage you to stay here if you are looking for the perfect place for a group!

« We all had a wonderful time at Riad Nakhil. We were a large group of 15, each room was beautifully decorated and themed differently. The whole place was clean with plenty of space and various indoor and outdoor seating areas as well as a huge courtyard where we were able to do some group activities. Karim was so helpful throughout, he made reservations at different restaurants for us during our stay, however the best meals we had were on the first and last night in the riad. We had a group feast cooked by Fatima which was extremely reasonable. We ate in the riad 2 nights, you can ask for a slightly different menu if the group would like something different, both meals were delicious. If we had any questions Karim was just a phone call away. Breakfast was included in our stay, it is very basic but delicious and is more than enough to keep you going for lunch. The location was fantastic, the riad is in a secluded quiet area, you can walk 3 minutes and find the souk and the market. The pool was great for a dip!! Our trip was perfect and we would recommend this or any of Karim's properties, as the service was exceptional. We didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone at Riad Nakhil for making our stay perfect!!! »

« This Riad is absolutely perfect! We were 9 people staying there and we had booked the whole place. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, each with its own bathroom, although do take note that the bathrooms are separated from the bedroom with a curtain which is a Moroccan tradition. The house is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is amazing for some afternoon tanning and the pool downstairs is great for a cold but very refreshing dip. But the highlight I must say is the staff. They were super helpful with all or concerns, from booking cabs with the lovely Kamal and Jalil who are extremely polite and fluent in English, Arabic and French, to organizing dinner at the Riad. We had an incident where 2 of our friends forgot their phones at home and had gone away and Aziza (the caretaker of the riad) was extremely helpful and flexible and asked someone to come wait for them at home. The location is right in the heart of medina, which does mean chaos and hustle and bustle and sellers trying to sell you stuff, but we loved it. It's an authentic experience of Marrakesh. The house itself is less than a 2 minute walk to medina, but it is extremely quiet and secluded. I highly recommend it! And thank you everyone for making our stay great. »

« This is a great Riad to stay in and you're very close to all the hustle and bustle that the Souk offers. We were a party of 8 and the Riad more than accommodated us. On arrival, we were greeted by a home cooked Moroccan meal and immediately immersed into the Moroccan culture. Our host was great and arranged an excursion to the Atlas mountains. I would thoroughly recommend staying with Karim. Make sure to meet the resident turtle! »

« A great riad in the medina. It is near enough to the city walls that you can catch a cab but only about a 10 min walk from the Jemma el Fna and souks. There are only seven proper beds in the house but a few of us doubled up and everyone enjoyed our stay. Say hello to the resident turtle and enjoy exploring Marrakech from Karim's riad.»

« Both of Karim's Riads that we stayed in were impeccable. I am the director of a traveling high school program and Karin was able to accommodate all of our needs for our group of 23 people. We often ate family-style dinners together and the food was deliciuos. The rooms were beautiful and cozy and the staff was very helpful. Karin also helped manage our rides and excursions. This was one of our best accommodations during our 4 months of global travel. »

« Riad Nakhil - what a wonderful, wonderful experience. Karim helped me to plan my 30th birthday weekend here for 13 people and it could not have been better. He arranged a party on the first night with a feast and an incredible band. It was unforgettable. After that we decided to eat other meals cooked by the chef at the riad as it was delicious and cheap. The city tour, the Atlas Mountains tour, and the hammam that Karim arranged were also very memorable. Kamal and all of the staff of the riad are lovely and go above and beyond to make the guests happy. We loved coming back to the riad each evening as it was an oasis of colour, calm, and comfort after the crazy but interesting streets of the medina. The location was just perfect, minutes from the souks but in a secluded quiet back street. If you are considering a holiday at Riad Nakhil, just go for it. You'll love it! »

« We rented Riad Nakhil for a private group and had a wonderful time in the house. It's spacious and airy, though still intimate enough for our group to feel at home. It's on a major road in the medina and easy enough to get in and out of, and yet very quiet. Fatima is an excellent cook and the staff keeps the riad well organized - they were very accommodating to our requests. I would love to stay in one of Karim's riads again - in sha Allah!. »

« We loved to stay in the Riad. With a group of 7 we stayed for 5 days in the Riad. It was very nice. Nadia took very good care of us, as the other staff. We all had our own bedroom with bathroom which was very convenient. The Riad is situated in the middle of the medina, but you do not hear any noise of the busy Streets. There is a parkingplace nearby (3min walk) where your car can be parked safely. The roof terrace is very nice for sunbading, we all got a nice tan :-) Nadia booked a hammam for us which was really nice as well. »

« I used this establishment for a company team offsite. We were 7 people in total and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Before we even left, the attention from Karim was great. He provided great information and wonderful restaurant suggestions. Once we arrived, the staff was well beyond accommodating and friendly. In fact, the day we arrived we were terribly delayed due to issues in London. We had ordered dinner to served when we arrived and it was such a grand gesture that they stayed late to make sure we had a hot meal when we arrived. It was past 10 PM when we got to Marrakesh and none of us had been there before so it was such a relief that the airport pickup that we had arranged through Karim was there for us when we arrived. And of course, to have the meal waiting for us so we didn't have to worry the first night was a wonderful treat. »

« Amazing riad. Great location nearby Jemma el Fna and several other good places to see. The housekeeper is very sweet and greeted us with tea and cookies. The beds are all big and my friends and I slept very well. If we come back to Marrakech we would surely stay here again. »

« We had a fantastic stay in Riad Nakhil. It's in the thick of the action yet completely quiet and Private. A few steps to everything you would wish to explore. All the bedrooms were charming as was everything about the Riad. Fatima prepared breakfast for us every morning traditional Morrocan pancakes so perfect start to the day. correspondence with Karim was always easy and very prompt. Can't recommend highly enough. »

« The hosts sorted the taxis for each member of our group which meant a relaxing journey from the airport upon arrival. The riad is very centrally-located within the medina and made exploring the souks and Jemma el Fna a breeze. We had an amazing time with 12 people and the terrace was the key lounging area, day and night. The bedrooms were fine, but I would say that the outdoor furnishings looked a touch better in the photos. Breakfast was good but repetitive. One of the housekeepers, Nadia, was an absolute joy to have around and made us feel very welcome. We had a lunch and dinner catered which were both very enjoyable. »
