Excellent location, literally in the middle of JamiElFana. We had the entire place to ourselves. The workers were very accommodating and friendly. The pool is very small but was still thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. This isn't a 5* hotel but an authentic stay whilst in Marrakech. Great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Farah. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere and rarely need to get in a car. For the price, the number of rooms (and bathrooms) you get, the amazing service, wonderful breakfasts, and location is really incredible. I will say that some of the bathrooms are a little more rustic than I anticipated, with the showers right next to the toilet and no wall between, so just be aware of that. But as long as you set your expectations, that you’re not staying at a five star hotel but rather a home, you will be very happy. It’s a beautiful riad, such a unique place and a cultural experience, and we would stay here again in a heart beat. The staff took such good care of us, from cooking amazing food to organizing transportation to even letting one of our group store his bags for an extra day — we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Highly recommend!

My 8 American friends and I stayed here for 4 nights, and Aziza and their staff made sure that we were accommodated with everything we needed. We arranged to have a meal prepared upon arrival, after they sent drivers to wait for us at the airport. Our arrival went very smoothly. The airport drivers brought us to the grocery store by our request on the way in to pick up snacks and drinks for our stay, and our dinner which included a birthday cake for dessert was utterly amazing, and so nice to be able to just spend the evening at the riad while we got acclimated with our surroundings. To be fair, we did experience quite a culture shock when we arrived when we had to walk through the very busy market with all of our bags to get to the riad. This riad is dead center in the market area--there is no way to get there except by foot, so it is probably a 10 minute walk. Just be prepared for that, because we weren't quite ourselves upon arrival. That said, the riad staff sent a local with a cart to assist us to the riad, and the location was great to be able to walk everywhere in the Medina. In retrospect, it all went off without a hitch, we just weren't quite mentally prepared for all of the hecticness of getting in. The riad is beautiful, and we really felt immersed in the culture of Marrakech throughout our stay. The rooms all had their own bathrooms--some better than others. The staff cleaned and made the beds every day and provided delicious breakfasts. On the first day, we asked that they prepared some eggs in addition to the delicious orange juice, fruits, jams, coffee, tea, and breads, and they continued to do so every day for us. They were so sweet and we absolutely loved them. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were hot. Our stay was in January so it cooled down quite a bit at night. The rooms can get a little chilly, but they provided plenty of blankets, and each room has it's own heating unit which helped take the bite off. Keep in mind that as with all things, you get what you pay for. By no means is this the Four Seasons Hotel if that's what you're looking for. But for the price, it truly doesn't get any better than Riad Farah. We would come back in a heartbeat if our travels ever bring us back to Morocco.

The riad is extremely pretty and looked exactly the same as shown from the photos. Aziza, the manager, was very helpful and made sure our check in was smooth and our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend my friends!

To start with the booking confirmation, Karim has been very prompt with his responses and had answered many of our questions which was very useful for our trip planning. Secondly, the riad is well located. It is very close to the Jemaa el-Fna and within walkable distance to other tourist spots. Moreover, the riad was well decorated with a Moroccan flavour. It also had abundant space for us to chill and relax which was great. We would recommend Karim’s place to anyone who wants to live like a local while they visit Marrakesh.

We were 18 students staying at the Riad for 5 nights, and the place was just so nice and everything lived up to our expectations. The staff was very welcoming and professional, and helped us with all transport and excursions during the trip. Truly recommend staying here if you are a big group looking for an awesome experience in the heart of Marrakech!

« We descended upon Riad Farah in a group of TWENTY for my birthday, No easy feat to manage for any host! And we arrived in waves. Karim and his house team were incredibly attentive to all and worked overtime to schedule all the various transport needs and answer all our group's questions. The house manager Aziza is a warm, loving hostess and went the extra mile, even connecting me with a tailor to have a couture caftan created. Unbelievable experience! The feast we arranged on our first night was one of the most delicious meals we had in our entire multi-stop, 12 day trip and I only wish we had taken advantage of more in house meals. The location is so incredibly located, 2 minutes to Jemaa El Fna square with easy access to taxis to the new city and Palmeraie, and 2 minutes deeper into the medina maze for hours of wandering. I wish we could have stayed even longer, and we all long to return again. »

« We reserved the Riad for our wedding with our family and friends, and stayed there for 3 nights, all 19 of us (17 adults ad 2 children). All the rooms were very unique and authentic, some are better and bigger than others, but it worked just fine for our group. The Riad is really beautiful, and we enjoyed the common spaces the most. The location is the best, it is literally 2 minutes from the main square and still very hidden and quiet. Both the manager, Karim and the staff, lead by Aziza were super friendly and helpful, they went head over heels to make our special day smooth, and it was! :) Don't hesitate to book the Riad for your group stay in Marrakech!»

« Nous avons passé un week-end somptueux dans ce magnifique Riad à 13 personnes. Les 9 chambres sont spacieuses et équipées de sanitaires privatifs. Le Riad se trouve près de la grande place et l'accès via des petites ruelles rend la surprise de taille. L'accès se fait via la grande place qui est fermé au véhicules l'après midi. Donc si vous arrivez l'après midi vous aller devoir traverser complètement la place avant d'arriver au abord du Riad. Les services proposés sont de qualité et nous avons particulièrement adoré les repas dans le Riad. Bref un bon moment de plaisir qu'il me tarde de reproduire. Une adresse que je recommande vivement. »

« This is an absolutely STUNNING riad and is literally 2-3 mins away from the main markets in the old town. It's huge and very spacious, with great amenties. Rooms are clean, big and every room has an en-suite which is great. We used the private chefs for 3 meals and they were great. The food is amazing quality and far cheaper than going out to a restaurant. You get the home cooked meal and feeling of authenticity. Karim is great too - his communication is excellent and he's very helpful. I would highly recommend you stay here - it's such a beautiful place. »

« I stay here 2 night with my family, karim was fast response and he asked us before we arrive and even during our stay if everything is okey and don't hesitate to call him if we need anything he really was nice man. Riad near to center of Alfana square 2 min or less than by walking. Aziza greeted us and she made a tour of whole ride facilities and we were impressed of simple traditional moroccon design. each room was different from other one I really like that. the food was so delicious both meals. Overall Riad was great experience and Aziza and her friends they are verey helpful and nice women. »

« Just had a wonderful stay at Riad Farah and am glad we opted for this option. A few of us cousins had decided a family get together in Marrakech, and families had flown in from the US, Canada and UK. For our purposes then, the Riad was ideal as it had plenty of rooms, and space and yet homely enough to spend quality time together. It's an ideal setting for large groups. The Riad is an interesting building with lots of character. Rooms are quaint and well maintained; as are the numerous seating areas, cooling pool etc. Location is great, with lots of nice food places, shops, excursions, ham man...all on the doorstep. The Manager Aziza and her team of housekeepers are all friendly and accessible easily. Would definitely recommend having dinner at the Riad....the Tagine was the best we had during our stay in Morocco. Karim was easy to contact and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend this Riad and would love to stay there again. Only note of caution would be for visitors who require vehicular access close to where they stay. This is not always possible as Riad access is through the Jamaah al Fina; which is closed from midday onwards. »

« We stayed in Riad Farah for three nights in June 2016, as a group of 23 people. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and the Riad was perfect for our needs. Karim was easy to contact before our stay, and during our stay our local contact Kamal was able to help organise airport transfers and day trips. There are 9 different rooms, all with their own character and all clean and comfortable. There are also several spaces to sit and hang out - perfect after a hot day out wondering the streets of Marrakech! The breakfast was great, and dinner was excellent value for money in a large group. « We (8 persons) loved our stay at Karim's Riad. It is located centrally in at very quiet neighbourhood, the house is very beautiful and has some nice resting places around the patio and a beautiful private roof terrace. All rooms have air condition that can be used for heating too if its getting to cold in winter. We did not meet Karim but the manager Aziza and her staff did everything she could to make us feel welcome. We had a great dinner one night which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great too. We definitely would love to come again and spend more time there.»

« I strongly recommend this riad! It is beautiful and traditional with a perfect location. Each room has different decorations and details, at first it is really difficult to decide which bedroom to sleep in! There are also different rooms for entertainment, we celebrate Chinese New Year in the biggest salon, which was a wonderful night. My friends and I all love this place, and personally I took a great amounts of photos in the riad. »

« 8 of us recently stayed at this Riad and had a great experience. All had our own double bedroom with en suite which was perfect! The Riad is in a perfect location, just 2 mins walk from the main square but when in the riad you can't hear any of this hustle and bustle. The 2 chefs were lovely and great - providing breakfast for us each morning when we wanted it. They also cooked a 3 course meal for us one evening which was fantastic- the best tagine we had in Marrakech. Would highly recommend this Riad and very reasonably priced for what we got! « One of the best things about this riad was the location - 30 seconds away from the main plaza, Jemaa el Fna. Communication with Karim was easy and he responds quickly to all questions. We had a party that needed 5 rooms, so this was perfect for us to all be together in the common rooms. We had dinner at the riad one night and it was pretty good. French or Arabic required to communicate with staff. »

« We descended on Karim's house with a group of 13 women. His preparation and advice was perfect. The chef was great and we had a couple of meals at the Riad. The partnership with the driver worked out well as we also took a trip to the mountains - highly recommended. All in all a great location and well executed. »

« We rented the entire house for family and friends and spent 3 fantastic days in the riad. The location is really walking distance to Medina yet it's quiet in a hidden lane. Rooms are as shown in the pix, small but comfy enough even for family of 4. We held a party where the host arranged delicious local food, band and belly dancers, Hanna painting, all made our trip easy and enjoyable. Karim gave us lots of valuable advice, had a super helpful team and has arranged the best local tour guide for us. »

Riad Farah was perfect: transport was arranged from the airport and we were greeted upon arrival with Mint tea and biscuits. The rooms are all very good, each with A/C and the roof terrace is lovely. « Riad Farah is a beautiful house in a brilliant location. Karim was so helpful - he really couldn't have done more for me in the build up to our stay. I asked him countless questions to which he came back to me with friendly and helpful answers. I stayed here with 15 girls for my friend's hen do. It was a wonderful experience, made all the better by staying here. The Riad is huge - even for 16 of us. It was lovely and spacious. The roof terrace is a great area to sunbathe in and the rooms are clean and traditional. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty too. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants an authentic Marrakech experience. It is 30 seconds away from the huge square and market place. Ideal! « We had a fantastic stay at Riad Farah. Prior to arrival, Karim was extremely helpful, giving us advice on the area and making sure our needs were accommodated for. Aziza welcomed us at the Riad, she was extremely helpful and welcoming. The Riad itself is very clean, lovely rooms, so many sociable areas and a roof terrace for sunning yourself on when the sun is out. We originally arranged to have two evening meals at the Riad, but the first one was so good that we asked to eat all our meals there. It's a fantastic Riad for a group of friends or a large family to have a trip away. Highly recommended! »

« Karim is a very nice host. Initially I booked his other Riad (Riad Nakhil) which was cheaper than this one. A couple of days before me & my 11 friends arrive in Marrakesh, he informed me that there was a pipe problem in Riad Nakhil, and he kindly changed our reservation to Riad Farah, which is much more expensive than Riad Nakhil, without any additional payment/charge. Riad Farah is located very close to Jemaa El Fna, and yet still in a quiet area. The Riad is very big and spacious, has too many rooms for the 12 of us (I think there were around 9 bed rooms in total). When we arrive, the Riad was clean and many amenities have been prepared for us such as towels and hairdryers. Karim has also managed to prepare some food (incredibly tasty and fresh orange juice + some biscuits) for us. Before we arrive, Karim also asked whether we want some dinner to be prepared on the day we arrive in Marrakesh, and had also asked one of his colleague to pick us up at a square near the Riad. My overall comment: Karim was an incredibly nice host and I would recommend anybody who is planning to visit Marrakesh in the future to stay at any of Karim's places. »

« 17 of us spent a long weekend in Marrakech to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had an amazing experience. Karim's team were always at hand to help us and organised anything we asked for - a taxi to pick us up from the airport and to take us back on the return journey,a wonderful birthday meal cooked by Lemena and Aziza. The food was delicious and well worth staying in for. The riad was perfect each room full of character and very comfortable. The roof terrace was the perfect peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The riad was situated in a fantastic location just off the main square with easy access to everything that the vibrant city had to offer. »
