« Well located, comfortable place to stay. We opted to have Kaboura make us dinner one night, and it was very delicious! A great stay, thank you! »

« Riad Salam was wonderful: from the pre-arranged taxi pick up at the airport, to the friendly goodbye from Karim a day before our early morning departure. The apartment was very spacious for two, and would have no problems accommodating four. The highlight for us was Kaboura, the lovely lady who welcomed us at the riad with hot mint tea, prepared breakfast, cooked the most wonderful dinners - make sure you try her home-cooked meals at least once, and just makes you feel truly welcome. The terrace was a good feature for sunny days. Communication was fast and efficient. And finally, the riad is in a wonderful location for sightseeing the city: close enough to walk to the souks and other central landmarks, but located on a quiet street tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here. »

« It was great to have a whole riad to ourselves. We loved Kaboura and her cooking, and Kamal speaks excellent English and was very helpful throughout our stay. It was a bit cold at times but that's not unusual for riads in February and the bedrooms were warm enough at night. This riad provides a nice base for exploring a great city.»

« The riad is in a great location in the medina - just a short walk away from Jemaa el-Fna, as well as the more modern Guéliz area. The included breakfast is good, but the real pièce de résistance is the optional dinner you can order. We had some on the evening of our arrival and it was some of the best food we had in Morocco. Certainly beats many highly rated restaurants in the area in quality and price. The riad itself is spacious, nice and clean. We were a bit apprehensive about how warm it would be, as we visited during February where the nights can get cold - thankfully there are plenty of heaters available and the bedroom was always nice and warm. Would definitely stay at Karim's place again. »

« Our family of four loved Karim's Riad. We appreciated the location of the house located on a quiet street away from street noise, the casual yet cozy feel of the house, bright natural lighting, cleanliness, daily breakfast and free WiFi. Also just steps from the main square Jamaa El Fna and Mosque Kotubia. Koboura and Kamal were warm, kind and very helpful. They are both like family now and we miss them every day. Koboura's breakfast which is a must try was simple and delicious. She made us freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. We were in orange juice heaven. When checking in please ask Koboura where to find a hamam for massage relaxation. Kamal the driver who picked us up from the airport spoke flawless English. Thank you for everything! »

« We had a wonderful stay at the riad. Karim and kaboura (the lovely housekeeper) made us feel at home. Kaboura's cooking is a must-try - we highly recommend arranging an evening meal with her. She speaks basic French, which helped with communication. The included breakfast was bread or pancakes, with jams, coffee, fresh OJ and mint tea. The riad is centrally located and only 10-13 minutes from the main square, with grocery stalls and a pharmacy nearby. The house was clean, with a rooftop terrace and a salon that had a small TV. The bed is comfortable and the shower was hot. For the price, location and hospitality, this riad was a very good deal. »

« A lovely house. Highlight was Kaboura's smile and hospitality. She maintained the house and cooked our breakfast and dinners. Karim was helpful and prompt in corresponding to enquiries through airbnb. Aziza was the local manager who was very helpful also. The food was lovely and we were served a different dish each night, my favourite was the chicken and fried potatoes. There was ample bottled water and mint tea served with dinner . The house is as it appears in the pictures. Traditional Moroccan with all the mod cons. The bedrooms and living area were not cold, despite it being jacket weather outside. I advise bringing a warm jumper and light scarf if out in the evenings, at this time of the year. Showers were nice and hot at anytime of the day. Wifi was strong enough to watch Netflix! The location is perfect for walking to Djema el Fnaa or Jardin Majorelle. All the main sites are within walking distance. Despite this, the house is nice and quiet at night. We were allowed to leave our bags in the house on the last day whilst we went round the medina. In summary, a good value, well located, well managed place to stay that serves delicious Moroccan food. »
